HOW I SPENT MY 2022: JANUARY - DECEMBER

 



January


Summary: "In January, I had a busy month presenting papers on various topics, including remodeling the Sokoto State Media Corporation's library using technology, social media marketing, digital strategies to increase revenue for Alelawa Fertilizer Company, and personal and business branding. I also celebrated my 26th birthday and founded a food delivery company called ciabinci.com, which was commissioned by the Governor of Sokoto. In addition, I had a productive meeting with Nigerian Super eagle players Abdullahi Shehu and Ahmed Musa and attended a program at American Space on careers in tech for education development. Finally, I shared my thoughts on the importance of trying different things, becoming a web developer or mobile app developer, and being grateful to receive more."


1st:  I shared how I spent 2021 from January to December.


5th: I Presented a paper on remodeling the Sokoto State Media Corporation’s Library using technology.


11th: I presented a paper on social media marketing at Sultan Maccido Institute.


12th: I celebrated my 26th Birthday.


12th: I founded ciabinci.com, a food delivery company; Launched by  Permanent Secretaries Dr. Nasir Daniya and Hajiya Aishatu Turai Hassan of the ICT Directorate and Sokoto State Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency respectively.


14th: I presented a paper on various digital strategies available that could skyrocket the revenue generation of  Alelawa Fertilizer Company, including opportunities for export and expansion through the use of technology.


15th: Ciabinci.com was commissioned by His. Excellency Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR Mutawallen and Governor of  Sokoto.


16th: I had a productive meeting with Nigerian Super eagle Players Abdullahi Shehu and Ahmed Musa.


16th: I Presented a  Paper on "ALL HANDS ON DECK: ICT IS NOT JUST FOR THE COMPUTER SCIENTIST." at American Space, Sokoto organized by FOSOSSA.


21st: I shared why it's important to try a lot of things before settling for just one source of income.


21st: I shared how one can easily become a web developer or mobile app developer.


26th: I shared why it's important to be grateful in other to receive more naturally.


26th: I attended a program at American Space: Career in Tech for Education development.


29th: I presented a paper on personal and business brands at American Space, organized by the Association of Northern Women Entrepreneurs.



"In February, I presented a paper on Google My Business in Hausa to local business owners at Sultan Maccido Institute, organized by SMEDAN. I also shared the importance of having a mentor for success and congratulated Aliyu Usman on his turban as Zannan Sokoto ta Kudu, and Dr. Nasir Daniya on his successful completion of a Ph.D. I shared my entrepreneurial experiences with Sokoto State University students during a GST/Entrepreneurship class and participated in ICT training events for orphans and Almajiris in the state. I also had a live discussion on Zoom and Facebook about why businesses fail and how ICT can be a savior."


February


1st: I Presented a paper on google my business in Hausa to local business owners at Sultan Maccido institute organized by SMEDAN.


1st: I shared why it is important to have a mentor if you want to succeed.


8th: I rejoiced with Aliyu Usman on his turban as Zannan Sokoto ta Kudu.


11th: I felicitate Dr. Nasir Daniya on his successful Ph.D. completion.


12th: I shared my entrepreneurial experience with Sokoto State University Students during GST/Entrepreneurship class.


17th: At ICT Directorate, We organized ICT Training for the orphans in the State.


27th: I was live with Sir Yb on Zoom and Facebook to talk about why businesses fail and how ICT Could be a savior.


28th: At ICT Directorate, We organized ICT training for Almajiris at Almajiri integrated school Gagi.


March


SUMMARY: In March, Dan Anini Digital Solution became fully registered in the United States, with all necessary documents, phone numbers, office addresses, and bank accounts.


 I celebrated my wife's birthday and spoke to Corps Members at NYSC Camp about the importance of leadership, relationship building, and digital skills for success. 


I was also recognized by Yali Network Sokoto for my contributions to the community in the field of ICT.


 I participated in promoting ICT Directorate activities and organized an ICT training event for women in Gidan Haki, Sokoto. Additionally, I was a guest on Vision FM Sokoto to discuss online opportunities.

6th: I celebrated my wife's birthday, where I talked about how challenges made our bond even stronger.


10th: I spoke to Corps Members at NYSC Camp about why leadership, Relationship, and Digital Skills are crucial to success no matter who you choose to be.


16th: I was awarded by Yali Network Sokoto for my digital contributions to the community.


19th: I participated in the Massive promotion of ICT Directorate activities.


22nd: At ICT Directorate, we organized ICT training for women in the Gidan Haki area, Sokoto.


24th: I was at Vision FM Sokoto to talk about online opportunities. 




April


SUMMARY: SUMMARY: In April, I had several notable events and discussions.

I went live on Facebook to talk about relationships and shared my belief that if money is a person's only priority, marriage may not be right for them.

I also discussed the importance of proofreading official documents and shared tips on how to protect against phishing attacks. My uncle went missing but was later found, admitted to the hospital, and saved from kidnappers. 


I celebrated the birthday of my mentor's technical assistant and emphasized the importance of not being a whiner and only discussing a problem when I have a solution to propose. 

I touched on the need for humility in the growth of youth and shared updates about my website. 

I also shared tips on how to protect mobile phones from hackers and shared the story of returning a large amount of money that was sent to me by mistake.

DETAILED:

4th: I was live on Facebook to discuss relationships: If money is all that you have, Marriage is not for you.


5th: I shared how important it is to proof check the official documents before releasing them to the public, a lesson I learned from my Mentor.


5th: I talked about phishing and how one can protect his account from the attack.


5th: My Uncle went missing, and I seek massive prayers.


8th: My uncle was found, admitted to the hospital, and Saved from kidnappers.


8th: I shared some of the fastest ways to promote the use of the E-Naira.


10th: I celebrated the birthday of Imran S Fulani, the technical assistant to my mentor.


10th: I shared why it’s very important not to be a whiner, and only talk about a problem when you have a solution to propose.


10th: I discuss the need for our youth to be humble as they grow, one of the good qualities of Hon. Bashir Gorau.


11th: I shared about our Update website, http://dananini.com


16th: I shared tips on how to protect your mobile phone from hackers.



25th: I shared how I returned a huge amount of money sent to me by mistake from Wema Bank.



May


I celebrated Eid al Fitr with friends and family.


Throughout the month, I focused fully on improving my soft skills such as graphics design, and web and mobile app development through watching a lot of videos online and building/designing better projects. 







June


SUMMARY: In June, I participated in the Nigerian Army's social media program, helped some individuals become Android developers easily, shared how we raised some digital children, installed CCTV at some locations, 


assisted Some business owners with software management Solutions, and shared how we helped over 100 people secure Npower offers. 


Additionally, I presented a paper on the topic “ How to be an opportunity-driven developer at the Google I/O Program. 


2nd: I Participated in The Nigerian Army’s non-kinetic line of operations and critical roles in social media. 

18th: I shared how we helped Sadam becomes an android developer in a few days.


18th: I shared how we raised digital children from scratch in 2 years.


19th: We installed CCTV at Sokoto State Primary Board.


20th: I Shared the effective way to use copy and Paste more productively.


21st: I shared how we helped Hafat Dange to manage her business easily using a software.


25th: I shared how we helped more than 100 people in getting a Npower offer.


26th: I presented a paper on how to be an opportunity-driven developer at Google I/O Program



July


SUMMARY: I talked about the importance of consistency, something I learned from my mentor who has been working on something for the past 20 years.


 I shared about the importance of creativity and innovation. I celebrated Eid Al Kabir with my family and friends.


 My wife went into labor and gave birth, but unfortunately, the baby did not survive. I organized a big surprise for my wife and renewed our love to ease the pain she had gone through.


 I started using Windows 11 and shared my experience with it. I shared about social media management courses and available online opportunities and also paid a percentage of the registration fee for some people.

6th: I talk about consistency, Something I’ve learned from my mentor, seeing how he’s been working on something since 20 years back.


7th: I shared about the importance of Creativity and Innovation.


9th: I celebrated Eid Al Kabir with families and friends.


10th: My wife was in the labor room and gave birth but the baby couldn’t make it afterward.


17th: I organized a big surprise for my wife and renew our love to ease the pain she passed through.

August


SUMMARY


In August, I shared about how many of my students later became my clients. I also shared about my success in maintaining stable electricity for over two years using a solar system. On a different note, I talked about the importance of personal development for our growth. I also discussed the concept of universal interconnection and interdependence and how it impacts our lives. Later in the month, I participated in a program that we organized at the ICT Directorate about why businesses fail.


2nd: I Shared how most of my students later became my clients.


2nd: I shared how I was able to have 24 hours of stable electricity for more than 2years

4th: I talked about the importance of personal development to our growth.


5th: I talked about the concept of universal interconnection and interdependence and how it impacts our lives.


28th: I participated in the program we organized at  ICT Directorate about why businesses fail.




September


SUMMARY: In September, I was involved in several events and activities. The new office for Dan Anini Digital Solutions was launched by Dr. Nasir Daniya, and I received the Honorable Special Advisor to the Sokoto State Governor on Human Rights and NGO. I shared my thoughts on why youth should sometimes keep quiet on certain issues, and celebrated my marriage anniversary privately to focus on building my relationship. I also addressed some social media misconceptions about an Indian politician and talked about the importance of networking for personal and business growth. I also organized a CEO's Breakfast at Startup Sokoto and bought tickets for four business owners to attend.



1st: Dan Anini Digital Solutions' new office was launched; by Dr. Nasir Daniya at K7 Mall, Agaei Road Sokoto.


2nd: I received the Hon. Special Advisor to the Sokoto State Governor on Human Rights and NGO Ubaida Muhammad at the office.


5th: I talked about why our youth need to learn to keep quiet on some issues to avoid putting themselves in unnecessary trouble.


12th: I celebrated my marriage anniversary in private in other to focus fully on building our relationship internally rather than just for social media attention.


16th: I explained some of the social media misconceptions that spread about an Indian politician.


20th: I talked about the importance of networking for personal and business growth.


20th: I bought tickets for four business owners to attend the CEO’s Breakfast which we organized at Startup Sokoto.



October


Summary: In October, I shared various experiences and insights related to technology and digital skills. These included how I saved a media corporation team from a virus attack, the importance of having a laptop to register for my course, 


how some students have been creating valuable content for businesses and making money, recovering social media accounts for dignitaries, and phishing tricks used by hackers.

I presented a paper on monetizing skills and received an award for my digital contributions to the community, and participated in a World Mental Health program. 

I discussed how I meet 90% of my clients through quality recommendations and facilitated digital skills training for entrepreneurs organized by SMEDAN.


I emphasized why it's never too late to start something good, and the importance of adhering to social media platforms' community rules, congratulated my mentor on his promotion and shared how my mentor taught us how to discover our full potential by subjecting us to challenges that enable us to grow.


2nd: I shared how we saved the Sokoto State Media Corporation Team from a virus attached that deleted gigabytes of data they captured from a remote location.


2nd: I shared some of the reasons why we prefer students with their laptops to register for our course.


3rd: I shared how some of how students have been creating valuable content for businesses and making money for their selves.


4th: I shared how we were able to recover the social media account for the Hon. Special adviser to the Sokoto State Governor and Some other special dignitaries.


8th: I shared some of the phishing tricks hackers used to steal valuable login credentials.


10th: I presented a paper on How to monetize your skills at the Shehu Shagari Computer institute.


10th:  I received an award from Shehu Shagari Computer institute for the digital contributions I have given to my community.



10th: I joined the Medical Women Association of Nigeria to participate in World mental health and contributed digitally to the success of the program.


12th: I shared how I met 90% of my clients through quality recommendations from others who have enjoyed our services.


12th: I facilitated the Entrepreneurship digital skills training organized by SMEDAN in Sokoto.


14th: I shared why it's never too late to start doing something good and be successful.


17th: I shared why It's important to never violate social media platforms' community rules.


26th: I felicitate my mentor on his promotion to the rank of Permanent Secretary by the Sokoto State Government.


31st: I shared how I was able to easily solve some facebook related issues and how I communicate directly with them.


31st:  I shared how my mentor taught us some of the ways to discover our full potential such as subjecting ourselves to challenges that enable us to grow.



NOVEMBER


SUMMARY: "Throughout November, I actively participated in various activities related to technology, personal development, and providing tips on productivity, graphics design, and career. I took part in a panel discussion at the Sokoto Book and Art Festival, shared my insights on Facebook's 'Quiet Mode', went live on Facebook to answer tech-related questions, talked about the differences between Gmail and Email, provided tips on how to identify spam emails, created a cross-platform attendance app at the Google Developer Group, discussed the importance of four goals for a better life and shared some of the disadvantages of using Facebook Lite. I also shared my personal experience on how I became a professional graphic designer by accident."

11th: I was part of the panel discussion to talk about some of the ways ICT could help our young artists to grow at the Sokoto Book and Art Festival.


19th: I helped a friend to get his technical job offer.


21st: I talked about Facebook Quite Mode and how it can help one be more productive.


22nd: I shared the difference between Gmail and Email and was live on Facebook to answer tech-related questions.


24th: I shared how we focus so much on the quality of our client’s graphic design.

27th: I created a cross-platform attendance app at the google developer group and share how easy it easy for anyone to build his app within a few minutes.


28th: I talked about four goals we all need to have to live a better life: Personal Development, Relationship, Religious & Business goals.


28th: I shared some of the disadvantages of using Facebook lite.


30th: I shared how I was able to become a professional graphics designer by accident.


December


SUMMARY: I discussed a variety of topics including the use of captioning technology for people with hearing challenges, working with organizations to celebrate the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, tips for running Facebook ads without a page,


 my role as a mentor in the NITDA Blockchain Scholarship program, 


my job as a marketer at ArtificialX AI Company, providing tips on identifying good computers and phones to buy, advice on being a good father and moving on after a breakup, tips on becoming a computer expert, discussing the recovery of Facebook accounts remotely, 


sharing small business ideas and giving a N5K giveaway, discussing Artificial Intelligence and opportunities in Northern Nigeria, discussing the differences between android and iPhone and tips on thinking big, 


tips on converting drawings to animations, tips on correcting a child, the power of listening, and my reasons for choosing Dr. Nasir Daniya as a mentor.

3rd:  I talked about how Dr. Ijeoma with a hearing challenge is using the Google meet caption feature to communicate easily.


3rd: I partnered with Nagari Gender and Disability right development to digitalize a program to celebrate the international day for persons with disability.


4th: I talked about how it's now possible to run ads on Facebook without having a Facebook page.


9th: I was selected as a mentor for the NITDA Blockchain Scholarship program.


11th: I started working with ArtificialX AI Company as a marketer.


13th: I participated and contributed to the NITDA Nigeria Stakeholders engagement forum.

17th: I Shared some tips on how to be a good father and how to move on fast after a breakup for the singles in other to live happier.

21st: I Shared some of the small businesses one can start with N5K and gave N5k giveaway to the person who was able to clearly state how he will use it to grow his business.


22nd: I talked about Artificial Intelligence, the challenges and opportunities it comes with, and how we intend to promote it in northern Nigeria through ArtificialX Company at Vision FM Sokoto.


25th: I talked about which is better android or iPhone and why, I also shared tips on how to think big.


27th: I shared tips on how to convert drawings to animations.


29th: I Shared some tips on how to Correct a child.


30th: I talked about the Power of Listening.


31st: I shared some of the reasons why I chose Dr. Nasir Daniya as my mentor to felicitate his birthday.
